The ArchaeoPool is a special database of ArchaeoBW GmbH. Here you can apply proactively and you can be contacted directly by us should a project suitable for you start. For this we need some information from you in order to be able to co-ordinate your application in the best possible way.

Safety is our top priority, this also includes security of your data! With our HR system from rexx systems GmbH your privacy is guaranteed. The data will never be disclosed to third parties and is used exclusively by the ArchaeoBW GmbH for employee recruitment.
It is possible to specify preferences for the time position and region of the excavation as well as for the desired range of tasks. As soon as a suitable position is available you will be notified by us.
Where should I apply?
No matter where you apply: it will be registered in our ArchaeoPool system. Nevertheless, we would like to ask you to select the correct position to speed up the application process.
Students of Archaeological Sciences
Are you a student of archeology and want to do an internship? You are welcome to contact us. However, we try to avoid unpaid "internships" and would rather employ you as excavation worker. We oppose the exploitation of students and stand for fair wages in archaeology.
Condition is a minimum age of 18 years. In addition, the minimum term of an excavation helper in the initial contract should be at least six weeks, because only then can it be ensured that an adequate introduction to practical field work takes place. Of course, we will gladly issue you an internship certificate after the end of the contract in which we certify all your activities for your college or university.
Pupil internship
Since our interest in archeology started in school as well, we also want to give pupils the opportunity to do their compulsory internships with us.
In the one to two-week compulsory internship, you will gain insight into the course of an excavation and, if desired, also in the finds processing and data processing. Excavations are usually offered in various places in Baden-Württemberg.
